If you’re looking for an appetizer that your guests will rave about, look no farther than our artichoke tapenade made with gorgonzola or feta cheese, or our olive tapenade made with Kalamata olives and figs. Either one will be gobbled up at a casual party just as fast as at an elegant dinner party.
Our mixes are designed for artichokes or olives, and we don’t use the traditional, salty ingredients to develop our flavors. We’re heavy on the garlic for both, and instead of more salt, use a combination of spices and herbs that adds an earthy, succulent flavor layer to the tapenades. When we sample our tapenades, we favor Kalamata olives, and add crumbled gorgonzola, feta or asiago cheese to our artichoke tapenade.
Our mixes give you a way to make your own tapenades that is much less expensive than purchasing prepared tapenades. You can choose to make them spicy or not.
