Drinkware Christmas 2019
Drinkware for Every Need
ArteeVita
This is the Esty.com store for Karen Sabatello’s Arte & Vita (Art & Life) business. Karen is a self taught artist who has been enthralled by decorative painting since childhood. She says that giving something old new life gives them even more character. She’s been painting for over 25 years, focusing on topics that reflect her interests and passions. Her hand painted wine glasses are among the most beautiful we have seen. She is also happy to personalize her art.

On the left above is Karen’s matched set of four original Poinsettia wine glasses. The poinsettias are accented with a raised gold embellishment. Holly berries with a spray of snow are painted on the pair of glasses on the right. Raised gold accents add a lovely touch on these glasses too. These glasses hold between 8 and 9 ounces and are sold in sets of 4.

Above are large wine glasses that hold about 16 ounces when filled to the top. On the left is the Holly Berry pattern shown in sets of 4 above. The pattern on the right is called the Snowman Couple. These glasses are sold individually.
The glasses are hand painted with a thermos-hardened paint that, once set, is dishwasher and microwave safe. Glasses are usually ready to ship in 3-5 business days from Karen’s studio in New Jersey.. Find these and more beautiful seasonal wine glasses at ARTEEVITA.

Glasses by JoAnne
Glasses by JoAnne is the Esty store for JoAnne Battista. Although JoAnne has always been an artist and spent thirty years being an Interior Designer, once she discovered painting on wine glasses, she was hooked. It combines three of here favorite things: love of wine, decorating and painting. She always enjoyed decorating for parties, and there’s a theme party in every glass she paints.

On the left above is a glass set with a snowman and Santa. The snow res are highlighted with wine glitter, as are the bases. The glasses on the right feature a snowman couple (girl snowman is on the left) with red “clothing”. These are also available with green “clothing”. The glass bases feature color coordinated mittens.

Glasses on the left above feature a wintery pine branch with red berries circling the glass. Bases are painted white with fine glitter to look like snow. White Christmas shimmery reindeer run around the glass and pine tree glasses make up this set of 4. Snowflake all around the glasses are optional. Red and gold poinsettias grace the glasses on the right. They highlighted with gold glittered ribbon accents, and have coordinating red or gold bases. Nostalgic Santa mugs and tumblers are on the left and center, while Nostalgic mugs are on the right. The mugs are stoneware, as is the Nostalgic Santa pitcher on the left in the bottom row. The pitcher holds about 9 quarts. On the bottom right is a set of 4 assorted Silly Stag cups.

The Naughty and Nice shot glasses on the left can easily do double duty as tasting glasses for delicious desserts. The Stag etched double old fashioned glasses on the right, however would be insulted by anything less than good whiskey of some sort.

Swoozie’s
Swoozies opened their first store in Buckhead in Atlanta, Georgia in 2001. Half of the store features invitations & stationery and half is devoted to gifts, many of them being personalized. The gift area of the store is theme based, changing with the seasons. The folks at Swoozie’s are passionate about many things, including recognizing and celebrating life’s occasions. There are now ten Swoozie’s stores, mostly in the Southern states, most recently in the Denver area, and swoozies.com. They have treatments for drinkware seen nowhere else, and their sense of humor is readily apparent in all their product categories.

The red frost flex cups above hold 12 ounces. The drink “hugger” on the top right is just one of many that will make you laugh out loud. The foam cup in the bottom row holds 16 ounces.

The beverage napkins at Swoozie’s typically come in sets of 16 or 20. These are just a few of the many. You’ll have a hard time picking just one or two.

Oriental Trading Company
Oriental Trading Company has an amazing array of party supplies. They started out using catalogs to sell to teachers, expanded to corporate sales and now sell to everyone online. They specialize in disposable party supplies, but in recent years have added items that are intended to be kept. Their pricing is typically somewhere between competitive and quite low, although sometimes the prices are so low because they are selling items by the dozen (we’ll note the number of units for the price for each item if there is more than one pictured).

The Santa’s Belt plastic cups are sold in packages of 50 and the Christmas shot glasses are sold in packs of 24. The drink dispenser on the bottom left holds about 9 quarts. The wind bottle cover on the right takes ugly sweater bottle covers to new levels only your closest friends, who really love you, will appreciate.
Find these and many disposable drinkware items online at OTC DRINK.
Party City

Party City has more than plain colored disposable cups. The mug on the left is stoneware, and the one on the right (which says “naughty” on the back) is ceramic. There is also a “warm and cozy” stoneware mug in Buffalo Plaid, with an accompanying 60 ounce ceramic pitcher.

Both the tumblers on the left and stemless wine glasses on the right are glass, although they also have plenty of styles of plastic glasses too.

Patry City has an excellent collection of beverage and other seasonal napkins.

The Christmas bottle covers are adorable and the least expensive we found anywhere.
