Swoozie’s

Swoozies opened their first store in Buckhead in Atlanta, Georgia in 2001.  Half of the store features invitations & stationery and half is devoted to gifts, many of them being personalized.  The gift area of the store is theme based, changing with the seasons.  The folks at Swoozie’s are passionate about many things, including recognizing and celebrating life’s occasions.  They also have a wicked sense of humor, which permeates their entire line of products.  There are now ten Swoozie’s stores, mostly in the Southern states, most recently in the Denver area, and swoozies.com.

The bowl and platters in the top row are melamine, and have been customized (no additional charge) with the “Hudson” name.  The bowl is 6.5” in diameter and the platters are 10” (sold in sets of 2.  The “treats” bowl and spoon on the right are ceramic.  The bowl is 3” x 6” and the spoon is 4.25”.  While they were intended for candy, they work quite well for dips/spreads.  The beverage napkins in the bottom row are representative of their sense of humor, and not likely found elsewhere.
