ArteeVita

This is the Esty.com store for Karen Sabatello’s Arte & Vita (Art & Life) business.  Karen is a self taught artist who has been enthralled by decorative painting since childhood.  She says that giving something old new life gives them even more character.  She’s been painting for over 25 years, focusing on topics that reflect her interests and passions.  Her hand painted glasses, candle holders   and vases are among the most beautiful we have seen.  She is also happy to personalize her art.

The top row features 20 oz. wine glasses hand painted with linked white heart and scrolls and ivory accents.  In the middle are 8” red glass vases (rose vase on the left, cylinder vase on the right).  These are also hand painted with linked hearts and scrolls.  Paint on the rose vase is sparkling pink and on the cylinder vase it’s sparkling white.  The bottom row features a mini candle holder on the left (3”)and a mini clear glass bowl (can also be used as a candle holder) on the right.  The bowl is available in 3” and 4” sizes.  Find these and more beautiful hand painted, customizable wine glasses and bowls on line at AF VALENTINE.

 

Pier 1

The wine glasses in the top row are all hand painted.  The stemless wine glasses are hand blown, but only available online.  The plates on the left and right in the bottom row are appetizer/salad/dessert size.  The white plate on the left is porcelain.  The red valentine shaped plate is made of glass in turkey, but has a matching serving platter (13” x 12.6”) made in Italy.  The platter with hearts in the middle is made of glazed stoneware and about 14” x 8” x 2”.

The two rows above showcase some of Pier 1’s Valentine’s table linen.  The runners in the top row are available in two sizes, 72” x 14” and 108” x 14”.  They are 100% cotton.  The hearts runner has matching napkins sold in sets of 6.  The tablecloth on the right is only available in 52” x 52”.  It’s also 100% cotton and has matching napkins sold in sets of 6.  The bottom tow features napkins and napkin rings.  The napkins on the right are made of 100% cotton.

There are two Valentine’s string light sets available.  Both are 5’ strings and battery operated.  The set on the left is very basic with 15 LED hearts.  The string on the right is new this year, and features Capiz Glettered Hearts interspersed among the 60 LED glimmer lights and a timer.

Pottery Barn

The rows above feature Pottery Barn’s stoneware Valentine’s collection.  In the top row the heart shaped platter is about 12.5” x 12.5”.  The rectangular platter on the right is 12.25” x 4.745” x 1.25”.  On the left in the bottom row is a dinner plate (7.5”).  On the right are a serving bowl (holds 2 quarts) and snacking bowls.  All are sold individually.  For these and more in this collection see Pottery Barn stores or online at PB VALENTINE.

 

Christmas Tree Shops and & That! Stores

Christmas Tree Shops operates over 70 locations, including a few named “& That.”  The stores are mostly in the northeast or southeast, but their website, christmastreeshops.com, makes their offerings available to everyone.  They have a broad selection of home decor and entertaining items, at amazingly low prices.  They’re definitely worth a visit, however you do it.  In their stores, this retailer sells most everything individually.  On line décor items are also sold individually unless otherwise noted.

The table runners on the left and in the center above are 72” x 13”, 100% cotton on the face and a poly/cotton mix on the back.  Toss pillows are available in the same patterns.  On the right are electric heart lights.  Each light is 6” x 6”, and there are 21 lights in the 52” string.  They can be used indoors or outdoors.  For these and more Valentine’s décor items visit Christmas Tree Shops or & That! Swoozie’s

Swoozies opened their first store in Buckhead in Atlanta, Georgia in 2001.  Half of the store features invitations & stationery and half is devoted to gifts, many of them being personalized.  The gift area of the store is theme based, changing with the seasons.  The folks at Swoozie’s are passionate about many things, including recognizing and celebrating life’s occasions.  There are now ten Swoozie’s stores, mostly in the Southern states, most recently in the Denver area, and swoozies.com.  They have treatments for tableware and decor seen nowhere else, and their sense of humor is readily apparent in all their product categories.

Swoozie’s has a good collection of disposable Valentine’s plates and napkins.  The top row features dinner plates on the left and center, and canapé plates on the right.  The pastel heart shaped plates on the left are sold in sets of 8 (1 of each color).  Small plates are also available, as are luncheon and beverage napkins.  The red “lips” plates in the center are 10” x 6”.  The pink canapé plates are 5” x 3”.  All are sold in sets of 8.

The middle row features luncheon napkins.  The pink “lips” napkins on the left are 5” x 8” and sold in sets of 16.  The candy hearts napkins on the right are sold in sets of 16 (4 of each pattern).  Plates (7-1/8”) are also available, but only in the red U R SWEET pattern.

The bottom row features beverage napkins, and Swoozie’s famous sense of humor.

Oriental Trading Company

Oriental Trading Company has an amazing array of party supplies.  They started out using catalogs to sell to teachers, expanded to corporate sales and now sell to everyone online.

The metallic red heart shaped tea lights above are battery operated and sold by the dozen.  The stacked heart shaped trays on the right are made of wood and are sold in sets of 3 (10”, 8” and 6”).  Both are inexpensive ways to make your Valentine’s gathering more festive.  Find these and more Valentine’s party items online at OTC VALENTINE.

 

Party City

Although Party City is known primarily for disposable party supplies, the serveware above is ceramic or porcelain.  On the left is their ceramic Two of Hearts bowl set of 5 (2 bowls, 2 picks and the bamboo tray).  In the middle is their Handle on Love heart platter (9.5” x 10.25”).  It’s made of porcelain.  On the right is a 5” x 3” ceramic bowl (available only online).  Find this serveware and more in Party City stores or online at PC VALENTINE.
