Based on a popular restaurant recipe, this is our # 1 dip for ladies.  It’s especially appealing to garlic and artichoke lovers.  Unlike most other artichoke dips, it has no lemon.  Our recipe uses marinated artichoke hearts, and the marinade supplies what little tartness is needed for balanced flavor.  Serve Hot Artichoke Dip (pictured) spread on French bread or Artichoke Dip cold with crackers.  Both are quick, easy, and ladies’ favorites, especially for game day parties when most of the food is geared to the guys.

MORE ON HOW TO SERVE THIS MIX FOR EASY FALL ENTERTAINING:

Spinach Artichoke Dip:  Spinach is a yummy addition to this dip.  Serve it as a cold dip (pictured) or as Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip (pictured).  Kick it up several notches and use it to make Hot Spinach Artichoke Stuffed Mushrooms (pictured), or simply stuff mushrooms and serve as a cold appetizer.  Any way you serve it, it will be a hit at your fall party.

Crab and Artichoke Dip:  Add crab to dip & sprinkle top with Parmesan before baking for Hot Crab and Artichoke dip, a truly elegant fall appetizer.

See labels or RECIPES for directions for spinach artichoke dips and stuffed mushrooms.

Tapenade:  Combine mix with chopped artichoke hearts, a little wine or sweet vermouth, olive oil and either crumbled Gorgonzola, Asiago or Feta cheese for delicious artichoke tapenade.  Fantastic as a spread on baguettes or a simple topping for pastas (both pictured).  Nothing like all the bottled artichoke tapenades!  Try Artichoke Asiago tapenade.  Wow friends and family whether it's a casual or more formal fall party.

Unlike most artichoke dips and tapenades, there is no lemon in this mix, so it pairs well with all white wines.

Makes about 2 cups of dip before adding artichokes.

No artificial colors, ingredients or preservatives added.

Ingredients:  Minced garlic, spices, ground black pepper.
