Based on a popular restaurant recipe, this is our # 1 dip for ladies. It’s especially appealing to garlic and artichoke lovers. Unlike most other artichoke dips, it has no lemon. Our recipe uses marinated artichoke hearts, and the marinade supplies what little tartness is needed for balanced flavor. Serve Artichoke Dip cold (pictured) or Hot Artichoke Dip spread on French bread. Both are quick and easy for summer parties.
MORE ON HOW TO SERVE THIS MIX:
Spinach Artichoke Dip: Spinach is a yummy addition to this dip. Serve it as a cold dip (pictured) or as Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip (pictured). Kick it up several notches and use it to make Hot Spinach Artichoke Stuffed Mushrooms (pictured), or simply stuff mushrooms and serve as a cold appetizer to celebrate the warm summer weather. Any way you serve it, it will be a hit at your party.
Crab and Artichoke Dip: Add crab to dip & sprinkle top with Parmesan before baking for Hot Crab and Artichoke dip, a truly elegant appetizer.
See labels or RECIPES for directions for spinach artichoke dips and stuffed mushrooms.
Tapenade: Combine mix with chopped artichoke hearts, a little wine or sweet vermouth, olive oil and either crumbled Gorgonzola, Asiago or Feta cheese for delicious artichoke tapenade. Wow friends and family whether it's a party on the deck or more formal party.
Unlike most artichoke dips and tapenades, there is no lemon in this mix, so it pairs well with all white wines.
