Tastes just like a great, spicy Bloody Mary cocktail, but it's much more versatile.   Make it as a dip or serve with celery to carry out the Bloody Mary theme.  Mix in cooked chopped shrimp for Bloody Mary Shrimp (pictured), serve with crackers.  Both are very nice ways to kick off a Halloween party!

MORE HALLOWEEN FOOD IDEAS:

Combine Bloody Mary Dip Mix with 2 cups of Heinz ketchup.  Having a casual Halloween party, go with Bloody Mary Glazed Meatballs.  The 2 cups of spiced ketchup will coat about 2 pounds of cocktail meatballs.  Ready in minutes when heated in the microwave; keep warm in a crock pot or chafing dish.  They’re great Halloween appetizers.

Dollop a tablespoon of this spicy ketchup into each shot glass; then just add cooked shrimp for Bloody Mary Shrimp Shooters.  These make sophisticated appetizers for your Halloween party.

Both are quick, easy, and original flavors for cocktail sauce and glazed meatballs.

Have a bit more time, use this spiced ketchup as the sauce and glaze with your favorite meatloaf recipe.  Bake meatloaf in cupcake pans (takes about 25 minutes at 350°).  Drain and cool.  Serve warm in seasonal cupcake wrappers.  They’re great Halloween party food – easy to nibble while drinking and circulating through the other guests.
