Kick up ketchup to adult levels.  Tastes just like its Bloody Mary name sake; a bit spicy, and a perfect complement to shell fish, meatloaf, hamburgers or fries.  Just add one package of Bloody Mary Dip Mix to 2 cups of Heinz® ketchup to use as you would ordinary ketchup.  Add a splash of lime juice, then chill for a deliciously different cocktail sauce for Shrimp Cocktail Shooters (pictured).  These are great fall party appetizers. 

Keep it quick and easy for casual parties, use disposable shot glasses.  If your party is more sophisticated, serve Bloody Mary Shrimp Cocktail Bites (pictured in tasting spoons).  TIP:  See SERVEWARE for places to buy the black spoons.


Glaze for Meat or Chicken:  Amazing as a glaze for Bloody Mary meatloaf (pictured), and even better when it's also mixed into the meatloaf. Or make individual "cupcake" loaves and serve in seasonal wrappers (pictured).  They’re so easy to hold while talking or sipping a drink.  For parties, prepare these ahead of time and re-heat to warm (not hot) when ready to serve.  TIP:  For best results, wait until ready to serve to place “cupcakes” in the wrappers.

Both appetizers are very popular with guys at parties, especially as temps drop as fall progresses; and they go really well with most fall ales.



Salad Dressing:

Cocktail Sauce Salad Dressing:  Uniquely delicious as dressing for a Tossed Bloody Mary Shrimp Cocktail Salad (pictured).   This is a lovely start for dinner parties.  The recipe couldn’t be easier:  Toss cooked medium shrimp in Bloody Mary Spicy Ketchup (enough so shrimp are well covered).  Place spring mix lettuce in martini glasses and top with shrimp.  The beautiful presentation sets the tone for the whole dinner.  TIP:  Keep things easy.  Use cooked frozen peeled, deveined shrimp and let them defrost in the package over-night in the fridge.  Pat shrimp dry with paper towel.  If the shrimp still have tail shells, gently remove or cut them off them before using shrimp.

Bloody Mary Salad Dressing:  Use it mixed just with mayo and fold in cooked shrimp or crab for Bloody Mary Shrimp Salad or Bloody Mary Crab Salad. Add finely chopped celery if desired.  Serve on a bed of lettuce or in a hot dog bun (like lobster rolls) for casual Christmas parties or buffet.  TIP:  Make clean up easy and serve salads in disposable clear plastic cups.

Like regular ketchup:  Don't forget fries dipped in Bloody Mary Spicy Ketchup (pictured), or prepared frozen snacks like pigs in a blanket or chicken tenders.  Ummmm good!  Frozen snacks and appetizers are perfect for casual parties or unexpected guests. If you don’t want to take the time to make glazed meatballs, just heat meatballs in the microwave and serve with Bloody Mary Spicy Ketchup for dipping.
