These flavors are what Southern desserts are all about! Use the mix to flavor Caramel Pecan Bread Pudding. Add sweet potatoes and pecans to make it even better (pictured). See the RECIPES bread pudding section for this fall dessert recipe.
Mousse made with our Caramel Pecan Mousse Mix is smooth as silk and tastes just as luscious. Put the mousse in a martini glass and top with whipped cream, crumbled cookies (pictured) or sprinkles. The martini glass dresses up the presentation, even in an informal environment. TIP: If it’s a really casual occasion, consider disposable plastic martini glasses, available in 2 oz or 8 oz sizes. The 2 oz size is more stable and who could resist these delicious dessert bites.
OTHER GREAT WAYS TO USE THIS MIX:
Cannoli Filling: Use it to make Caramel Pecan Cannoli (pictured). These traditional southern flavors combine with this Italian dessert to make both even more delicious. Dust with powdered sugar for an easy garnish, or dip ends in pecan pieces to kick it up another notch. TIP: See the READY MADE page for where to purchase ready-to-use cream puff or cannoli shells and crepés. They're delicious, and make this dessert exceptionally easy.
Topping: It makes a quick and easy dessert topping for pound cake, angel food cake, and sweet potato or pumpkin pie (pictured). Dollop mousse onto oatmeal raisin cookies (pictured) or waffle bites (pictured) for a light finish at fall parties.
Ice Cream Flavoring: Use it to make Caramel Pecan Ice Cream. It's delicious and easy to make. See RECIPES for ice cream directions.
Note: Make with reduced fat cream cheese and Lite Cool Whip® for light and fluffy mousse texture
