Like many Moroccan flavor combinations with cinnamon, cumin and cayenne, our Casablanca Dip Mix works particularly well in combination with meat and fruit. Mixed just with apple butter, you have an incredible spicy dipping sauce for chunks of cooked pork (pictured). Makes a great Halloween appetizer with the pork served at room temperature. It’s pictured with an “appletini” to carry out the apple theme, but is awesome with seasonal ale or wine too.
This is even great for just dipping pretzels!
Make it celebrate Halloween even more by using pumpkin butter instead of apple butter. Pair it with pumpkin ale or one of the new pumpkin drinks mixologists are making famous. You’ll have truly unique Halloween party food.
