When you take a bite of this luscious mousse, it will take you straight to your favorite memory of eating chocolate covered cherries. It’s just as rich and delicious too. Mound in chocolate cups and garnish with maraschino cherries for a great July 4th dessert.

Filling for Cannoli, Cream Puffs or Crepes: Use it as a filling for Chocolate Covered Cherries Cannoli or Chocolate Covered Cherries Cream Puffs. Use chopped or sliced maraschino cherries to garnish the open ends of the cannoli (pictured). Drizzle chocolate sauce across tops for an extra finishing touch if desired. Whether you make regular size or mini cannoli, they are great “finger food.” They’re a perfect ending for any July 4th party. If your party is inside, you may want to include a glass of chocolate liquor or wine (in the picture). If your party includes watching the fireworks, consider saving these delicious bites to serve just before the fireworks start. These cannoli are so good your guests will think the fireworks are partly for the cannoli.
