If you like garlic & blue cheese, you'll love this thick, creamy dip.  Our Garlic Blue Cheese Dip Mix makes a full flavored spread that stands up well to a good, dry cabernet or hoppy ales.  It’s pictured as a cheese ball rolled in bacon.  What a combination for a fall party!  Or make it really easy and just serve the dip with sturdy chips.  Delicious with cocktails, beer or wine.

OTHER GREAT WAYS TO SERVE THIS DIP FOR EASY ENTERTAINING:

Open Face Appetizer Sandwiches:  Serve thinly sliced rare roast beef (or filet mignon) on baguette slices spread with onion or garlic jam.  Dollop prepared dip on top and garnish with chives (pictured) or parsley.  Even served on a paper plate, our Garlic Blue Cheese & Roast Beef Canapés can provide a serious level of sophistication to any fall party.

Stuffed Mushrooms:  Unbelievable mixed with chopped walnuts in Garlic Blue Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms, using Portobello mushrooms, served chilled (pictured) or as a baked appetizer.  See RECIPES for directions for baked Blue Cheese & Walnut Stuffed Mushrooms.

Quick and Easy:   Dollop this creamy dip on thin slices of salami and fold into cones (pictured) for a snack or quick fall appetizer.  Make a lot – guys love these!

Buffalo Garlic Blue Cheese:  The addition of Frank’s Hot Sauce® changes the flavor profile completely.  See BUFFALO GARLIC BLUE CHEESE DIP for pictures and recipes. If you don’t want to pick one, make half of each for your fall party (pictured).  There won’t be a bite left of either.

Cream Pasta Sauce:  Wonderful also as the base for a cream sauce for ravioli. Both Fresh Mushroom Ravioli with Garlic Blue Cheese Sauce and Butternut Squash Ravioli with Garlic Blue Cheese Sauce are show stoppers at dinner parties.

Just combine mix with 2 cups milk or cream (we use one cup of non-fat half & half & 1 cup of 2% milk) and simmer until sauce coats the back of a spoon (about 3-5 minutes), stirring occasionally.  Serve ravioli on platter topped with sauce.  Garnish this with fresh chives or parsley, and/or sprinkle with grated nutmeg, if desired.  TIP:  after draining ravioli, pat dry with paper towel before adding sauce.  You won't find a restaurant that can make this sublime dish better.

Makes about 2 cups of dip or sauce.
