This Asian inspired flavor is just delightful. In our version, ginger is the flavor forward ingredient rather than sesame. It's our very best dip to showcase fresh vegetables - even kids love veggies with this one! It’s delish with chips too (pictured with both). Either way, it’s a great appetizer.
OTHER DELICIOUS WAYS TO USE THIS DIP:
Salad Dressing: Use dip in place of mayonnaise to reinvent tuna or chicken salad (pictured Ginger Sesame Tuna Salad).
Dipping Sauce: Discover an amazing flavor combination in Sweet Potato Fries with Ginger Sesame Dipping Sauce (pictured). Also innovative as a dipping sauce for grilled chicken or fish. TIP: Use with leftover grilled or roasted chicken chunks for a tasty high protein snack.
Replace Tarter Sauce: Use dip instead of tartar sauce with grilled, baked or poached salmon.
Glaze: Spread prepared dip on chicken or fish before baking. Ginger Sesame Glazed Salmon is a lovely main dish. Dab a bit on broccoli before microwaving for a really elevated side dish.
Hummus Seasoning: Make your own Mediterranean/Asian ethnic fusion with Ginger Sesame Hummus. With its unique, delicious taste, it will quickly become a favorite at your parties. See RECIPES for directions.
Layered Asian Dip: Based on the popular layered Mexican dip, this appetizer starts with the Ginger Sesame dip made with cream cheese & mayo, spread over a plate or pie plate. Then ingredients like shredded carrots, green onions, shrimp or chicken and bean sprouts are layered (or sprinkled like the toppings on pizza), ending with chopped cashews or peanuts. See APPETIZER RECIPES for directions for Ginger Sesame Asian Layered Dip and more serving ideas.
