Layers & layers of flavor. If you like the taste of jerk seasoning, you'll love this in each of the many easy ways it can be fixed, including the Jamaican Orange Crab Balls pictured.
Our Jamaican Orange Dip Mix is a delightful evolution of jerk seasoning with just a taste of orange. Add mix to cream cheese, scallions and crab, mold into 1 teaspoon balls and roll in crushed almonds or corn chips for maybe the best crab balls you've ever tasted (pictured here). See APPETIZER RECIPES for complete directions. This is a nice change for a Christmas party appetizer.
These flavors pair well with slightly sweet white wines, seasonal ales and mojitos.
OTHER WAYS TO USE THIS DELICIOUS MIX FOR EASY CHRISTMAS AND ALL HOLIDAY ENTERTAINING:
Meatball Glaze: Combine mix with a can of cranberry sauce, a bottle of chili sauce and a splash of cranberry juice or wine, to make a killer glaze for hot cocktail meatballs (pictured). Meatballs are a guy favorite, and with this cranberry/Jamaican Orange sauce, they'll fight over the last one and beg for more when you serve them at your Christmas party!
Sauce: Roast Pork Tenderloin Slices with Jamaican Orange Dipping Sauce (pictured) is a unique and show stopping flavor combination.
Canapés: For a sophisticated Christmas appetizer, place slices of pork tenderloin on baguette slices, dollop with prepared dip mix and top with a mint leaf (pictured). Kick these Jamaican Orange Pork Canapés up a notch with Cosmos or mojitos garnished with orange slices to carry out the orange theme. TIP: For orange mojitos, substitute orange seltzer water for lime and garnish with an orange slice.
Chip Dip: Jamaican Orange Dip is lovely and unusual Christmas dip served with potato chips and veggies, or plantain chips (pictured) to continue the Jamaican theme.
Meat Rub: With its layers of flavor, this mix is just amazing as a rub for Jamaican Orange Chicken, Jamaican Orange Pork or Jamaican Orange Fish.
Remoulade: Use Jamaican Orange Dip as Remoulade instead of cocktail sauce for steamed shrimp, or instead of mayo for dressing for crab or chicken salad. It’s totally amazing.
However you use it, it will set your holiday parties apart with its great authentic Jamaican flavor.
