Our Madras Dip Mix is a fusion of South Indian and Northern California flavors.  The first time people try the dip, they usually smile and say something like, "This is nice!"  It’s not spicy, but warm and comforting. Delicious made with mayo and sour cream and served with chips (pictured) or fresh veggies (pictured).  The India spice blend is typically used to season lentil soup, so this is a whole new way to use it.  If you’re looking for an original fall appetizer that everyone will love, this is it.


Vegetarian Dips and Sides:  Use this mix to season any vegetable that can be mashed or roasted.  Madras Carrot Dip with pita chips (pictured) is a great choice for a fall vegetarian appetizer.  Madras Roasted Mixed Vegetables (pictured with beets and sweet potatoes) is a vibrant side dish, not just for vegetarians.

Hummus Seasoning:  This mix is also beautiful as a seasoning for Madras Hummus and amazing served with fresh veggie dippers (pictured). This is a great option for your vegetarian fall party guests, and appealing to all hummus lovers too.

Vinaigrette Seasoning:  Lovely as a vinaigrette seasoning for vegetable or pasta salads.  Madras Orzo Pasta Salad is pictured; it’s delightful for casual parties or buffets.

Marinade & Dipping Sauce: Imparts a delicate flavor as a marinade or dipping sauce.  Pictured as Chicken with Madras Marinade and Madras Dipping Sauce.  Works well with fish too.

Other Side Dishes:  Does amazing things for the finished dish when added to the cooking liquid for orzo, couscous or rice pilaf.
