Our Roasted Garlic Salsa Mix does double duty spicing ketchup up to adult levels.  Just add the mix to 2 cups of Heinz® Ketchup.  Jalapenos and a few other herbs combine to create spiced ketchup with layers of flavor.

Use it mixed into meatloaf, and as the glaze (follow your favorite meatloaf recipe, but substitute this seasoned ketchup for the tomato sauce or ketchup).  If you don’t have a favorite, follow this quick Halloween recipe.

Ingredients:  1 pounds of lean ground meat, 1 medium onion (chopped), 2 raw eggs (beaten), 1 cup of fresh bread crumbs (about 2-4 pieces of any kind of bread broken into pieces and chopped in food processor until fine bread crumbs), 1/2 to 3/4 cup prepared spiced ketchup.

Directions:  mix all ingredients together.  Place about 1/2 cup of mixture in each hole in an un-greased regular size cupcake pan.  "Meatloaf cupcakes" (pictured) cook in about 25 minutes at 350°.  Drain and cool before serving warm in seasonal wrappers.

These are easy to hold or eat with one hand while you have a drink in the other.  These spicy Roasted Garlic Meatloaf Cupcakes will quickly become #1 on your Halloween food list because they’re easy to make and will be such a hit at your Halloween party.

TIP:  Make meatloaf cupcakes ahead and refrigerate until you’re ready to serve.  Allow about 15 minutes at 350° to warm, or microwave in batches, before serving in the seasonal wrappers.

Make entertaining quick and easy by using this Spicy Ketchup to jazz up pre-made frozen appetizers for your party, or when guests arrive unexpectedly.  Update popcorn chicken or pigs in a blanket (pictured) with Roasted Garlic Spicy Ketchup for dipping.  It also gives French fries, chicken tenders, or any fried veggie a new lease on life.
