Tortuga Bay Salsa 2004 H
Almost like a trip to the Caribbean, our Tortuga Bay Salsa Mix is designed to take fruit to the next level. It combines the tastes of traditional jerk seasoning with rum and mint flavors. We make this salsa most often with canned pineapple, red peppers and green onions because it tastes great and is really quick to make. In the fall and winter, when cranberries are in season, we often use fresh cranberries and green onions with orange marmalade and orange juice or orange liquor (pictured). Either way, tortilla chips complete the sweet/spicy/salty combination we love. They make a wonderful relishes served with pork or turkey, too. The fusion of Caribbean and New England is delightful and a different taste fusion, so if you're looking for something innovative but delicious, the cranberry salsa is just the thing for a Halloween appetizer. And it's particularly tasty with fall seasonal ales.
