In the original, famous chocolate mousses, sumptuous dark chocolate was combined with the subtle taste of orange liquor. Our Traditional Orange Chocolate Mousse is luxurious, with just a subtle taste of orange liquor.  Pile mousse in a martini glass.  It’s just the right ending for any fall party.  Top simply with a dollop of whipped cream and garnish with chocolate sprinkles or curls (pictured).

OTHER GREAT WAYS TO USE THIS MOUSSE FOR EASY ENTERTAINING:

Cannoli Filling:  Cannolis are traditional crisp Italian pastries made in tube shaped shells with a filling typically made with ricotta cheese.  Cannoli shells make lovely "containers" for this luscious mousse.  Traditional Orange Chocolate Cannoli are pictured:  mini cannoli shells have been filled with mousse and drizzled with chocolate syrup; chopped candied orange pieces dot the open ends for extra garnish.  This is a very traditional serving style for this most untraditional flavor fusion.  Serving this preparation will definitely set you apart as a party host!  TIP:  Make this easy entertaining by using prepared regular or mini size cannoli shells.  See the READY MADE page for where to purchase ready-to-use cream puff or cannoli shells and crepés.

Easiest Way To Serve:  Pile mousse in martini or cordial glasses (pictured).  It’s just the right ending for any fall party.  Top simply with a dollop of whipped cream or garnish with chocolate sprinkles or pearls.

Just A Taste:  Served in these adorable little “tuxedo” chocolate shells (pictured), this mousse is sumptuous enough to finish even the most sophisticated meal.  TIP:  Look for these and other chocolate shells at specialty food stores around fall and winter holidays, or on line any time.  They keep very well as long as they aren't exposed to extreme heat or cold.  Pair a flute of champagne with the tuxedo “bowls” (pictured) to extend the “formal” feeling.

Note:  Make with reduced fat cream cheese and Lite Cool Whip® for light and fluffy mousse texture
